Mastering metallographic grinding: Achieve optimal results with the right medium

Consistent, high-quality sample preparation is key to reliable metallographic analysis. After cutting and mounting, grinding is another crucial step in metallographic sample preparation. In addition to selecting the correct grinding parameters, the choice of the right grinding medium significantly influences material removal rate, surface quality, and efficiency.

Webinar Highlights

  • Understand the fundamentals of metallographic grinding
  • Comparison of grinding media: paper, disc, and stone
  • Overview of our grinding machine portfolio
  • Discover how our Galaxy, Polaris, Quasar, and Vega discs perform in practice
  • Comparison of Material Removal Rate and Surface Quality

Who is the webinar for?

The webinar is aimed at professionals in quality assurance, materials testing, research, and production who want to make their preparation processes more efficient and achieve the best possible results through the optimal selection of grinding media.
